The Engineered Wood Products Association (EWPA) Jumps into Top GOOGLE Rankings

[Source: EWPA Press Release, www.ewpa.com, November 28, 2007]

The Engineered Wood Products Association (EWPA) website has become an established resource for browsers looking to find information about engineered wood products. In just two short years, EWPA’s site has climbed from being #49 to #9 in the GOOGLE search for “engineered wood” and from #23 to #3 for “engineered wood products.”

EWPA is intended to be a central place where anyone looking for information about engineered wood products can find it quickly. EWPA is focused on efficiently linking interested parties to the variety of product lines available today. EWPA maintains an electronic portal at www.ewpa.com that is specifically devoted to advancing knowledge about and access to engineered wood products. The focus is on manufacturers of engineered wood products and those that represent, support and supply these manufacturers.

“The fact that we have seen such a dramatic increase in our rankings shows that the EWPA organization is meeting the needs of our customers and our industry,” commented EWPA President Mike Baker of Weyerhaeuser. “I am encouraged by the comments I hear from our membership that the association is meeting their expectations. The EWPA web site is the one-stop shop connecting our members, vendors, associations, customers and other parties interested in our industry to the information they seek. EWPA does this without favoring any particular producer or product line and is committed to supporting and growing the engineered wood products industry.”

Visitors to the site will find links to industry & technical resources, as well as news and calendar items pertaining to engineered wood products.
