Strober Building Supply, the Brooklyn-based pro dealer that is a subsidiary of the Strober Organization and ProBuild, has opened a new location in New Hyde Park, N.Y. The unit on Long Island will serve as a sister locations to Strober Building Supply’s current Valley Stream facilities, allowing the dealer to greater volumes and a larger variety of products. The locations serve pros in Nassau County, Queens, the Bronx and Westchester.
The facility includes a 5,500-square-foot showroom that will feature the latest product offerings from major manufacturers like Andersen Windows, Therma-Tru Doors, Marvin Windows and BPB Celotex Ceilings.
“Building activity in greater New York has been very strong over the past 10 years,” said Richard Young, president and chief operating officer of Strober Building Supply. “The New Hyde Park location complements our current operations in Valley Stream, expanding and strengthening our ability to serve customers in this important market.”
